Editing your profile & console name

Most of what's editable about your account lives in Profile & Design — see "Your public author page & choosing a theme" for the public-facing side of it. One field worth calling out separately: Console name is private, shown only to you in your own dashboard header, and never appears on your public page. It's there if you'd rather see something like a nickname than your full public author name every time you log in — purely cosmetic, no effect on anything else.
