Email addresses you give us when subscribing to a reader list (to send you the emails you asked for), name and email when you contact us or submit a manuscript (to reply), and email when you buy a book (to deliver it and keep a record of your purchase). Our lawful basis is your consent for marketing emails and contract for purchases.
Signing up to an author's list means that author (via this platform) can email you; the site footer list is •BulletPoint Publishing's own reader list. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link that works immediately, with no login and no questions.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Our processors: Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email delivery). Some authors also connect their own mailing list provider (such as MailerLite or Kit); where they do, your sign-up on their page is shared with that provider under their privacy policy. We never sell your data.
Subscriber records until you unsubscribe (then suppressed so we don't email you again). Purchase records are kept for accounting as required by law.
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time — use the contact form and we'll act within 30 days.
