When you list a physical copy of your book for sale, you - not •BulletPoint Publishing Ltd - are the seller. We process the payment on your behalf through our Stripe account and pass your share to you, the same as we already do for ebooks, but the book, the packaging, the postage, and the reader's experience are yours to deliver.
You're responsible for posting each physical order within a reasonable time of the sale. When an order comes in you'll get an email with the buyer's name, address, and what they bought - mark it posted from your Sales page once it's in the post, so both you and we can see it's been handled.
You set your own price, stock level, and shipping options for each book. It's your responsibility to keep your stock count accurate and your shipping options honest about what you'll actually charge and where you'll actually ship to.
If you have 3 or more physical orders that have sat unposted for more than 10 days, physical sales are automatically paused across all your books until you clear the backlog - your ebooks are unaffected. This isn't a punishment, it's what keeps readers from paying for something they never receive, and keeps your account in good standing.
As the seller, you're responsible for handling returns, refunds, and complaints about physical copies in line with your obligations under consumer law in the jurisdictions you sell to. We may pass on a reader complaint to you and expect it to be resolved directly with them.
•BulletPoint Publishing does not collect, charge, or remit any tax (VAT, sales tax, or otherwise) on your physical sales - nothing is added at checkout, so the price you set is the full amount the buyer pays. If you're required to charge tax where you are, you'll need to price it in and account for it yourself out of what you receive - it isn't calculated or itemised separately anywhere in this system. You're solely responsible for whatever tax obligations apply to your own sales income, including registering, charging, and paying any tax due in your own jurisdiction.
We may update these terms as the physical-sales feature evolves; continuing to sell physical copies after a change means you accept the update.
