Your 14-day free trial and upgrading

Signing up at /join with a book's ASIN/ISBN and your email starts a free, 14-day trial the moment you click the magic link in your confirmation email — no card required, and every feature is fully unlocked for the whole 14 days. Around day 11 you'll get a reminder that time's running low. If day 14 passes without upgrading, your page goes private behind a simple holding page — nothing is deleted, your books, subscribers and settings are all still there, just not publicly visible. You've then got a 90-day window to come back before an untouched trial is eventually cleaned up (an account that's made any sale is never swept automatically, regardless of how long it's been — money owed to you is never just deleted). Upgrading is one click from your dashboard whenever you're ready, monthly or annual — it takes you to Stripe checkout and your page goes straight back to public the moment it completes.
