Toolchest Help › Your Page
Profile & Design is the control centre for everything on your public page: your display name, genre label, hero strapline, bio (leave a blank line between paragraphs), author photo, and links to your Amazon and Goodreads author pages. Themes are mood-based rather than genre-based on purpose — "moody and literary" doesn't have to mean literary fiction, so pick whichever look fits the feel you want, regardless of what you write. Changing it re-skins your whole page instantly, no redeploy, and you can change it as often as you like. The "free read" section (lead magnet) is one of the fastest ways to grow your subscriber list: give it a headline and a short teaser blurb (220 characters, so keep it snappy — it's a hook, not the book's actual blurb) and upload the file. Turn on the popup option if you want it offered proactively to new visitors rather than only sitting on the page. Your page lives at yourslug.bulletpointpublishing.com. "View My Site" in the sidebar always opens it in a new tab so you can check a change immediately.
